Scratch Day 2023

Scratch Day Event ImageFor local educators, we hop you can join us for Scratch Day 2023, taking place on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12:30-4:00 at the Foundry in Cambridge MA. We will be hosting the activity “Create a Robot Pet with KIBO – Onscreen and Off!”. You can come build, decorate, and program a KIBO Robot pet, teach it a trick to perform when you clap — and then re-create your pet in Scratch too!

About Scratch Day

Scratch Days bring together kids, educators, families, friends, and the Scratch team to imagine, create, and share! This year, Scratch Foundation is  hosting their local Scratch Day, BlockParty!, at the Foundry, a community building in the heart of Kendall Square, Cambridge. The event will kick off with an opening ceremony and move into a variety of hands-on activities: from creating your own games, stories, and animations with Scratch to robotics and art making activities.
