Watch this video about the research and development of a “Big KIBO.” This was a project by Miki Vizner at DevTech Research Group. Miki was studying the impact of scale on kids’ engagement with robotics. Do kids learn or play differently with a big robot than a small one?
Preschoolers researched the art and culture of the Ndebele people and coded a dance sequence using KIBO and played drums to accompany the dance.
To celebrate Tu B’Shevat, 1st and 2nd graders created 4 trees representing the seasons and programmed KIBO to care for the trees.
