KinderLab Professional Development
This training is aimed at educators, program coordinators and technology specialists who work with young children 4 to 7 years old in diverse formal and informal educational settings, such as school, pre-schools, day cares, libraries, museums, after school programs, summer camps, etc. The hands-on training provides an in-depth understanding of how to use KIBO robotics in a developmentally appropriate way with young children and how to integrate the different teaching materials.

KIBO Training at KinderLab in Boston, MA
A few times a year, KinderLab offers training sessions at our own facilities.
- Two-day training (6 hours) in Boston ($450 per participant). This training focuses on both technical and pedagogical aspects of working with KIBO robotics, as well as assessment methods, Common Core alignment and curriculum integration through robotics. This training is specifically designed for those working with KIBO in formal learning settings.
- One-day training (6 hours) in Boston ($225 per participant). This training focuses on both technical and pedagogical aspects of working with KIBO robotics.
- Half-day training (3 hours) in Boston ($110 per participant). This training provides an introduction to both technical and pedagogical aspects of working with KIBO robotics.

KIBO Training at your site
KinderLab Robotics offers professional development at your site. The cost of the training is $1600 per day, if in Boston, $2000 if outside of Boston, and $3000 if oversees (includes two trainers for a maximum of 30 participants). The following additional costs should be included and vary according to location: transportation (airfare, train, bus, etc); lodging per day, rental car, taxi or parking, and meals. There is also a travel fee that varies according to location: $750 half-day of travel fee (this is variable, depending on location or length of time to travel to site) and $1750 – 2000 travel day fee for training overseas.
Face to Face Consultation Fee in Boston: $150-$350/hour depending on trainer and location.
Consultation Fee via phone or Skype: $100-$200/hour depending on trainer.
