Robots through time: Celebrating National Robotics Week

This week is one the team here at KinderLab Robotics’ has been excited about for a long time – it’s National Robotics Week! The sixth annual event urges people across the U.S. to learn more about how robotics technology impacts society and inspire students of all ages to pursue careers in robotics and STEM.

We hope that in support of National Robotics Week, KIBOs that are in schools and homes across the world are getting makeovers and rolling around like crazy. It’s so important for children aged 4-7 to learn the fundamentals of programming, robotics and logical thinking – and what better time than RoboWeek 2015? If you’re putting your robot kit to good use this week, send us your images on Twitter or Facebook!

To celebrate, we thought we’d take a walk down memory lane with some of our favorite famous robots. Recognize any?
