We’re getting closer: A look at KIBO’s manufacturing line

After months of groundwork, support and anticipation – KinderLab Robotics is proud to inform you that KIBO is now in its final stages of the manufacturing process. Your KIBOs are being built right here in Massachusetts and our first orders will be ready for shipment just in time for the holidays!

We are working day and night, and having fun doing it. Check out our latest Kickstarter update for some images of our manufacturing line in action. We’re pleased that each of our Kickstarter backers and pre-order customers will be programming their KIBOs in just a matter of weeks.

For the rest of you, we know the holidays can be a stressful time, so we’d like to make it a little easier for you by crossing one thing off your list. KIBO caters to the academic requirements of 4-7 year olds through the use of programming, technology and creativity. Children create their own characters – from superheroes, doctors and princesses to helicopters, cars and spaceships. With KIBO, a child inputs a sequence of instructions with wooden blocks and with the press of a button the robot responds.

KIBO is based on over 15 years of research in learning technologies and child development at Tufts University, including testing with over 300 children and 50 teachers.

On behalf of KinderLab Robotics – thank you for your continued support and interest in KIBO
